- Answering Service: The new Area 11 Answering Service will start taking calls from the towns in District 19, as well as all the towns in former District 4, on August 1, 2024.District 19 has a good number of both female and male volunteers willing to take phone calls that come in to the 866-STEPS12 AA Hot Line. Also, please let the GSR’s know that all the volunteers know that the outbound phone number from Central Communications is: 203-846-4343All of the volunteers should have this number in their phone as the AA Answering Service phone number and know that if they get a call from that phone number, they should answer that call, as it is likely that the Answering Service will have a caller on the line that they wish to connect someone in AA if the same gender and hometown.
GSR’s should announce this phone number and let folks know that as of August 1, 2024, this is the outbound number for AA Answering Service in CT.

Steve will take the attendance sheet and reach out to those GSR’s who haven’t been attending to see if they are still GSR’s, if the meetings are still taking place and what would encourage them to attend. How can we get more groups to contribute since only 11 groups have submitted donations. We would like to see some district events – SUGGESTIONS ANYONE?
